Working in conjunction with the Pharmacist in Charge, the Retail Manager will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in a friendly atmosphere and maximise community connection. The Retail Manager also ensures that financial retail targets are met, whilst promoting our pharmacy as a centre for information, advice, health, and nutrition.
To excel in this role you will need:
- Solid retail experience at senior level (min 3 yrs)
- Expertise at managing a medium-sized team
- Excellent customer skills
- Health and wellness related product knowledge (desirable)
- Experience in administration/IT (desirable)
- Knowledge of stock control/retail inventory management (desirable)

Reporting to the Retail Manager or Business Manager, the Pharmacy Trainee will be learning the skills and knowledge of a Community Pharmacy Assistant. As a Pharmacy Trainee, you will be required to study a Certificate II in Community Pharmacy. This qualification will provide you with the basic skills in both pharmacy and retail skills, as well as learning how to provide customer service in a friendly atmosphere.

To excel in this role you will need:
- Ability to communicate with a variety of people
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and in compliance with WHS requirements
- A commitment and willingness to undertake training to acquire a MEDISCA Compounding Certificate (funded by the employer, for the successful candidate)
